TL;DR: Iron Wealth is a local-first app. Your financial data stays on your device. We don't collect, sell, or share your personal financial information.
1. Information We Don't Collect
Iron Wealth is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect:
- Your account balances, transactions, budgets, or financial data
- Bank account numbers, credit card numbers, or investment details
- Your location, contacts, photos, or browsing history
All your financial data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
Iron Wealth stores the following data locally on your device to provide app functionality:
- Account information (names, types, balances, currencies)
- Transactions (amounts, dates, categories, payees, tags)
- Budgets, goals, and savings progress
- App preferences and settings (theme, currency, notification preferences)
- Net worth history for charts and analytics
This data is stored using on-device storage and is not accessible to us or any third party.
3. Optional Cloud Backup
If you choose to enable cloud backup (via Firebase), your data is synced to a cloud database associated with your authenticated account. This backup is:
- Entirely optional — you can use Iron Wealth fully offline
- Tied to your personal account — only you can access it
- Encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS
- Deletable at any time from within the app settings
4. Subscription & Payments
Iron Wealth Pro subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store and Google Play Billing. Subscription status is determined on-device using the platform's native purchase APIs. We do not use any third-party subscription management service.
We do not receive or store your payment information, credit card numbers, or Apple ID / Google account credentials.
5. Analytics & Tracking
Iron Wealth does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not track your behavior, build user profiles, or share data with advertisers.
6. Biometric Authentication
If you enable Face ID or Touch ID, biometric data is processed entirely by your device's secure enclave. Iron Wealth never accesses, stores, or transmits biometric data.
7. Data Export & Deletion
You are in full control of your data:
- Export: You can export all your data as CSV or JSON at any time from Settings → Export Data.
- Delete: Uninstalling the app removes all local data. If you've enabled cloud backup, you can delete your cloud data from Settings before uninstalling.
8. Children's Privacy
Iron Wealth is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
